I have not been able to take the War on Terror very serious when the president refuses to shut the borders down. The president should pardon these guys and then give them some more ammo. He should say publically that if you are a foreigner that's injured or killed transporting illegal drugs in to the US you are out of luck. Border agents should have licenses to kill when it comes to illegals or anyone else trafficking drugs..

The border issue is why Bushes numbers are in the toilet. He's been as wimpy with Vincente Fox as he has been with the Democrats. He always lets people push him around and for that I have lost all respect for him. All the presidents "new tone" and turning the other cheek has gotten him is his face slapped and the Democrats in power.

Where are the Ronald Reagans? We need someone like Ronald Reagan. A real man. Not wimps.

The MSM keeps hammering away that the midterm loss was due to the war in Iraq. The real reason was the loss of confidence within the conservative base cause by Bush's amnesty plan, the Senate's GOP compliance and House's decision to scatter across the land for a 'listening tour' on immigration just after they had successfully pushed a bill to strengthen the border security.

You only get RR once in a century or so. There was Washington and Lincoln for the 18th and 19th and Reagan for the 20th. All of them showed up in the 2nd half. The key trait seems to be perceptivity, the ability to see the true situation which seems to be very rare in political actors, coupled with the ability to see how to Get It Done and to then actually Get It Done.

The failure of the War on Terror is implied in the very name for it. It is a refusal to recognize and to name the enemy and has become a refusal to actually fight the enemy. Instead we get bogged down in pacification of an area that doesn't even matter strategically. We need bases and assets in Iraq. It doesn't matter whether the Iraqis or the Persians or anyone else comes to love us in order to have bases there. The enemy in large is Resurgent Islam. The enemy immediate is Iran and if Iran is not dealt with severely and soon the enemy immediate will continue to expand and will grow to encompass a larger and larger portion of the Islamic world, will grow toward being the enemy in large, all Islam.

9/11/2001 until today...borders still open. Apparently Mr. Bush doesn't take the War on Terror seriously either if it interferes with his agreements with his beloved Mexico and his globalist masters. We have been sold out.

The president would seemingly be delighted with totally open borders, unrestricted immigration, and a unified North American Union to replace the current United States.

At least, that's the conclusion I've reached from observing him these past few years.

I shudder when I think of our future here in America.
