HANNITY: Let me move on. And the issue of guns has come up a lot. When people talk about Mayor Giuliani, New York City had some of the toughest gun laws in the entire country. Do you support the right of people to carry handguns?
GIULIANI: I understand the Second Amendment. I support it. People have the right to bear arms. When I was mayor of New York, I took over at a very, very difficult time. We were averaging about 2,000 murders a year, 10,000...
HANNITY: You inherited those laws, the gun laws in New York?
GIULIANI: Yes, and I used them. I used them to help bring down homicide. We reduced homicide, I think, by 65-70 percent. And some of it was by taking guns out of the streets of New York City.
So if you're talking about a city like New York, a densely populated area like New York, I think it's appropriate. You might have different laws other places, and maybe a lot of this gets resolved based on different states, different communities making decisions. After all, we do have a federal system of government in which you have the ability to accomplish that.
HANNITY: So you would support the state's rights to choose on specific gun laws?
GIULIANI: Yes, I mean, a place like New York that is densely populated, or maybe a place that is experiencing a serious crime problem, like a few cities are now, kind of coming back, thank goodness not New York, but some other cities, maybe you have one solution there and in another place, more rural, more suburban, other issues, you have a different set of rules.
HANNITY: But generally speaking, do you think it's acceptable if citizens have the right to carry a handgun?
GIULIANI: It's not only -- I mean, it's part of the Constitution. People have the right to bear arms. Then the restrictions of it have to be reasonable and sensible. You can't just remove that right. You've got to regulate, consistent with the Second Amendment.
HANNITY: How do you feel about the Brady bill and assault ban?
GIULIANI: I was in favor of that as part of the crime bill. I was in favor of it because I thought that it was necessary both to get the crime bill passed and also necessary with the 2,000 murders or so that we were looking at, 1,800, 1,900, to 2,000 murders, that I could use that in a tactical way to reduce crime. And I did.
In New Orleans, a non-existent police presence would also be the removal of a violent criminal anarchy.
That's why FReeper Pharmboy is moving here to Arkansas.
It doesn't.
The second sentence reads:
Or, at the very least, they should use it on all their campaign stuff.
There is no indication from you whether you intend they be forced to do this, as you would have them be forced to wear the triangle.
It says Congress shall make no law, period. It does NOT say that LOCALITIES may not have ordinances against public nuisances. Get a grip. You're babbling. But then that's what I expect from someone who is just another gun-grabber and victim disarmer.
I just cannot support him, in spite of his strong WOT position.
It's the most important thing for our immediate survival, but there are other issues just as critical to our survival as a nation.
I want to be able to work for the Republican nominee. Rudy would get a reluctant vote (obviously, nothing in the world would make me help the evil Hillary into the WH), but I really want someone I can truly support, and Rudy just isn't the guy....
"I firmly believe that the second amendment guarantees Americans the right to bear arms from 12:01pm-12:02pm every February 29th if they happen to live in a location with fewer than 50,000 residents."
"I'm Rudy Giuliani, and I'd like to be your next drag queen in chief."
Jim is right on this...
And yes, Hannity is a whore.
No... it's worse. Ho's are at least honest and up fron about what they do.

Ummm. Who is for whom?
As for a city boy, we could see if The Rapist and Liar In Chief wants to run again. Or perhaps Jimmy The Treasonous Carter.
Aside from questionable sentence structure, who is "Hunter Duncan?"
I this post a joke? If not, it's still pretty funny.
Anyway, reading comprehension and reasoning skills are important. Maybe a few pictures might help.
Fine.
Convince management to permit a post of a jpg of the comment in question.
Not at the time, they may still be there.
> That explains your ignorance. Take care of your own screwed-up country, mate.
Mind your manners, mate, ay. And be careful about who you call "ignorant": nearly half of *your* countrymen nearly put AlGore "Inventor of the Internet" in power, after all... duuuhhhhhh.
My country could be better led, but is not "screwed up": things work well here despite our government, but will work even better with a Conservative government once again at the tiller.
If Yanks pack rude attitudes like yours overseas, it's no wonder some people don't like you.
*DieHard*
When women (and men, I might add) object to hearing about Rudy supporters should be made to wear armbands and flogging, men use the "hysteria" term. Typical.
Well I certainly didn't refer to anti-Rudy posters that way, so don't include me in your little ping list.
LOL. Hardly. It was 10 years ago. And take me off your ping list.
Niiiiiiice.
Well, I'd say you've received plenty of logical replies that make sense with no replies from you. So I'm guessing you're busy heading to a gun show and mailing in your NRA dues?
I came here to learn about "Rudy on gun control" and ended up at a hockey game....or a boxing match....or a barnyard brawl. Yea, it happens, I know. Been there, done that. Let me know when the flames die down and someone posts some worthy information on this topic. Until then, let us pray that all of us who are even remotely Republicans including the far right, middle, and those hangin' on by a "thread", will come together and realize that by fighting and fracturing within, we are going to lose, and lose BIG. End of rant. God bless our troops who deserve more than we've ever given them.
Amen, Chena.
So you're suggesting that the little pink triangle that the Nazis used on the homosexuals wasn't a deliberate choice on your part to convey something ugly?
