I would bet Glenn Beck is way up that list since that printing...perhaps #3 or #4.

I'm on your bandwagon! That bellicose blowhard is the epitome of sunshine patriotism. He turned on the President well befoore the midterm elections and I'm sure his loyal followers voted for "other" in the recent election.

Instead of sending the president a "message" we got the shaft and will for the forseeable future.

Mark Levin should be much higher

In New York, yes, where he beats Savage. But nationally, Levin is a virtual unknown.

Savage is too rambling, uncontrolled, and undisciplined. He likes to hear himself talk too much to actually put in the effort to get anything done. He's not a bad guy, but my uncle's not a bad guy either, and I wouldn't want him to be President.

There is one political job Michael might do well at, if it's still available:

Or maybe it will force them to face some issues that they'd prefer to stay away from: like illegal immigration; although I think Tancredo would emphasize that anyway. Your idea makes sense, though.

Interesting that some of the loudest mouths are so low rated. Shultz, Imus(!), Franken, Beck, O'Reilly, et al are pretty low on the totem pole for all the bragging they do.

"We rarely mention Rush. Why? Because a lot of us don't listen to him anymore. "

1) I was talking about Wiener devoting 1/2 of his show going on anti-Rush spews
2) Anyone who reads the Wiener Nation thread becomes acutely aware that the Wiener fans don't listen to iconic American Conservative voices, just the populist drool from the Master of BS, Michael Wiener.

SAvage is a vent. A mouthpiece. I rarely listen to him, and then only a few minutes. he is almost manic depressive. He may have a following, and he is generally spot on when it comes to immigration and protecting our culture. But he has no political clout. he has bad mouthed far too many people.

O'Reilly is a low as he is, because he is not on the Newscorp station in a lot of markets. What's really suprising is how high Laura Ingraham is, given that she comes on so late. How many of those people are in their car listening to her?

He turned on the President well befoore the midterm elections

Yes he turned on Bush, for his amnesty plan, his support of the Dubai ports deal, and his disgraceful Attorney General's persecution of the border patrol agents and Iraqi soldiers.

And he was right to do so.

"Reagan did not have a lot of hate in his heart, but he would have despised Savage, for turning people away from conservatism."

I believe that is a fair assessment of how Ronald Reagan would view Michael Savage. Savage serves only to suppress conservative voter turnout with his irrational, pyrrhic stands on random, pet issues while repelling moderates away from the conservative cause who otherwise may have been recruited. I can't think of anyone in talk radio today who does more to elect Democrats than Michael Savage.

If you think cow-towing to Hillary Clinton on the Dubia ports deal was the right thing to do, I'm not suprised that you are attracted to Michael Savage.

"I despise Savage."

That's because you're sane.

"Michael Moore versus Michael Savage on Pay Per View.

I'd pay to see that."

Never happen. They agree on too much:

I'm not much of a Savage fan. I rarely listen to him anymore. But I don't understand why his use of a "stage" name is so offensive to some people.

There is plenty to dislike about the man, as you have noted. Calling him out about his name waters down your other bullet points, IMO.
