Edwards was a lucky 1 term Senator who could not win re-election in his own state, or even deliver his own state to his party as the VP candidate. Fact is he got a pass to win the 1 term in the Senate he got, made his wealth largely on trumped up bs litigation.
This guy is no more presidential material than Hillary Duff is an actress.

The scary part is that the three leading candidates for the Democrat nomination are all Senators, with no real accomplishments among them. They are all like the Zsa Zsa Gabor candidates - she's a star, but name a movie she made.
