I have long thought that there was something missing in our understanding of what occurred. Something fundamental that we're just not getting.

You aren't alone; I can't tell you how many times I've asked myself "Could we be THIS wrong? What am I missing?"

Scary, isn't it? It looks to me like Bill Clinton planned to take down the entire administration....impeach them both. However, how would it work...impeach Cheney first, then Bush appoints a VP which will never be confirmed, and then Pelosi is next in line? Then impeach Bush? Are they counting on Cheney honorably resigning, then using that to ignite a media firestorm causing Bush to quit?

I'm not smart enough to figure out the plan, but I bet he's looking for revenge.
