He rode a blazing saddle
He wore a shining star
His job to offer battle
To bad men near and far
He conquered fear and he conquered hate
He turned our night into day
He made his blazing saddle
A torch to light the way

When outlaws rule the West
And fear fills the land
A cry went up for a man with guts
To take the West in hand
They needed a man who was brave and true
With justice for all as his aim
Then out of the sun rode a man with a gun
And Bart was his name, yes Bart was his name...

I think High Noon was sung by Tex Ritter.

Tex Ritter sang High Noon in the movie soundtrack. Frankie Lane made it a hit record in 1952 and it rose to number one, winding up one of the top sellers of the year.

Aloha. Cool at night here but of course 69 to 70 is considered cold here. Days stay around the 82 mark. Lots of visitors here now to see the annual humpback whales that winter here. take care.

Everyone did "Ghostriders...".

The Outlaws[The Guitar Army, not the POS rap group who ripped off their name] did a really kickass version.

"The Outlaws"

I agree. "Long Hard Ride" is great too.

You're thinking of The Marshall Tucker Band.
