There was Great music from the 80's. You may consider it all "hair" music, rightfully so. big hair and big sound. It had a message. It was positive. It was loud. It motivating. It was Van Halen, Def Leopard, White Snack, Cinderella, and Areosmith's come back.

The early 80's were all about the British New Wave with groups like Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, etc. but the mid to late 80's are when metal really came back.
