I suspect that should Rudy win the presidency, what with the opportunity to appoint two or three more justices to the Supreme Court, he will have done more to position the judiciary to overturn or restrict Roe than anything the Family Life Council has been able to accomplish.

Check your filament. Rudy opposes overturning Roe, he thinks it is settled law and should remain so. His words, not mine. He has complimented Clinton on the Ruth Bader Ginsberg pick and appointed exactly ZERO conservative judges among the 70 or so he appointed in New York. Those are the facts, your wishes not withstanding.

I think the chances of Roe v. Wade being overturned are very slim. It's been a pipedream, imo.

But regardless, states are taking care of the abortion issue through various legislation which makes it more difficult or undesirable for a woman to have an abortion.

You're being dishonest. It's something I want to prevent. People, you don't have to vote Giuliani because the media has crowned him "electable". The media is just drooling over taking Giuliani down if he wins the nomination. Find a better candidate. And just about everyone is better except for maybe Hagel. If you want someone more conservative "who can win", go for Romney or McCain. Just get off the Rudytanic before it hits the iceberg.

And there in lies the crux. We are told to support Guiliani by the same people who lost in November. No word on them supporting our candidates. We are treated to childish 'Duncan Hines' smears and quizzed about Newt's marriage. Funny thing is Guiliani is not without shame in that area. Correct. And he also pointed out that as mayor of NYC, abortions went down, and adoptions went up. Why? -- "Because we placed an emphasis upon adoption," Giuliani told Hannity last evening. This is real accomplishment. If he could continue to place solid originalists on the courts, and reduce the number of abortions while increasing the opting of adoptions, these would be solid achievements.
