The MSM despise Newt and would turn him into a cartoon character during a campaign. He's smart and gifted in many ways but I think he would lose BIG TIME to The Beast.
Right now I'm with Romney...to me has it all... mostly.

Sounds more like the hype about a burning bosum ... something that folks in Utah know a lot about...

The real Reagan would be called a RINO for compromising on taxes, immigration, social programs, etc. So true.

It's early yet. Still time to get behind Hunter or possibly someone else.

You are very right about Sen. DeMint and Sen. Coburn.
I am not going to base any of my opinion on Sen. DeMint off of a video ....or even who he likes for POTUS.
His work in the Senate has been stellar.
I haven't even picked who I want yet...I am leaning toward Duncan Hunter...but, some of the threads are getting ridiculous.

Romney is the complete package. Do your homework on the guy and you will see what I mean. Incredibly honest and intelligent with the charisma and demeanor to match. He is a natural leader and a problem solver. By definition, a Mormon is a solid conservative.

Exactly. If Free Republic was around in 1979, there would be about a thousands threads proclaiming that candidate Reagan was no Barry Goldwater.

It's still going to be either McCain, Rudy, or Mitt and people are just going to have to live with it. Temper tantrums don't get anybody elected. This is probably true. That is why I am leaning towards the more conservative of the three, Romney. Waiting to see the debates to decide for sure.
To: RightSideRedux
Let's see, Reagan ghost-wrote an '80s book called "Abortion: The Conscience of a Nation." So if the GOP goes with a RINO, what might a similar RINO work look like?
Rudy: "Abortion in Gotham City. What Conscience?" Mitt: "Abortion: The Conscience of Kolob" John: "Abortion: Yeah, There's a War on the Womb But Illegal Immigrants Were First in Line to Get into This Country"
