Prayer Warriors - Thank you so much for everything you do. I appreciate the selflessness of all who have offered prayers for me and my family at the passing of my dad.

I feel like my mom has had all she can take, but I just received a call that her sister in W.Va. has been burned over 80 percent of her body. She's been taken to a hospital in Pittsburgh and that's all the info I have right now.

Please continue to lift us up in prayer. I know the Lord is in control of this, and I'm trusting Him.

I just cannot believe this is happening. The power had gone off in the Charleston area. My aunt had a propane heater, but she wasn't able to get it lit. So she lit a candle and caught her clothes on fire. She was able to douse the flames in the bathtub. She then got into bed.

Oh, that poor woman. Your poor family. Prayers going up right now for all of you.

Hold back the pain and suffering while her burns are being treated ... spare her, we pray, from the most severe degree of burn. Protect her vital functions throughout the night, that she might gain strength for tomorrow. Thank You for her presence of mind and for the the help of her children. Your aunt seems like a stoic, spunky lady. Just the kinda gal you guys need around right now.

Sounds like my family. My grandfather was dying of cancer and kept working on the farm. "I'm fine. Just a bit of heartburn." (Either he was really strong, or he had horrible heartburn!)
