It's possible he's changed his mind on that.

Overall I was impressed with the Rudy interview, I liked the fact that when asked about concealed carry he quoted the 2nd ammnedment, "right to bear arms".

Simple.

This is the reason I don't like concealed carry permits and do not have one, the right to bear arms uninfringed is already given in the second ammendment, no need to clutter it up with all sorts of other laws.

Never could understand that if we have a right to keep and bear arms why we have to have a permit to carry one. I agree with one of the other posters the 2nd Amend is not about keeping guns to go hunting, it was about keeping guns for our own protection from enemies foreign and domestic. At the time these laws came into effect we had fought Indian wars, a revolution, more Indian wars and had three foreign nations on our borders inciting Indians to kill our people. And that was not including protecting yourself from criminals. With the criminals and terrorist in our midst today we would be insane as a nation to let anyone take our weapons.
