This is definitely an important issue that must be watched.

How can a candidate jettison his past positions on issues so that he can be trusted if he adopts a new position? I don't have an answer to that.

The most important issue is life. The right to defend oneself is part and parcel of the right to life.

The 2d amendment recognizes that God-given right.

It would help if he jettisoned them BEFORE beginning a campaign for the presidency.

Too late for that.

Anyone's positions can evolve. And they can change when representing a different constituency. Note post 151. On this issue, I believe Rudy embraces his former position.
