I'm sure we'll find out one way or another up here in New Hampshire. Overtures have been made to him by some of the staunchest pro-gun conservatives in the state, so perhaps he's persuadable to see the light on the issue of the basic human right to self-defense.
Agreed... somebody in his strategy group needs to get him to see that all he's got to do is come out unequivocally on the matter that he sees gun control as a non-issue. I think he'd stick to it.
It wouldn't hurt in the meantime that some suicide bomber/shooter/nutcase somewhere is stopped by a citizen with a gun and uncounted lives are saved. I can dream... can't I? :-)

ANY true conservative and believer in the 2nd Amendment (they SHOULD go hand-in-hand) that believes RINO-rudy's pro-gun related overtures AFTER a life spent trashing and denigrating our 2A RIGHTS, is a FOOL on the same order of magnitude as Neville Chamberlain, who naively THOUGHT Hitler's word and signature would bring "peace in our time".
