Yes, I figure that through local ordinances are how they will get total gun bans in effect. The locals can pass any kind of law they want, constitutional or not. When every local city/town/county enacts a gun ban, then you will have a total gun ban. Which goes on to prove that all politics are local.

The old Winchester model 1897 comes to mind. It think every single shotgun designed to shoot the 3 1/2 inch mag will hold 6.

A lot of people today apparently don't share his viewpoint. Case in point. some years ago the local georgia gun rights group organized a pro gun rally at the state capital on a Saturday morning. We phone banked to all of our members (total about 3600 - even those who hadn't paid their dues in a couple of years) we advertised in the Marietta paper (we will never under any circumstances pay a penny to the Atlanta paper for anything) we hit the talk shows. 143 people showed up. The rest didn't want to give up about 3 hours on a Sat morning. The Atlanta Metro area has about 3,000,000 people. When Gage marched on Concord he was evetually met and sniped at by as many as 5,000 militia. The entire colonial population was about 12,000,000 at the time. The spirit of freedom is mostly gone in the USA today replaced by the spirit of gimmie and government worship.
