Canada's failure to meet its Kyoto commitments was partly due to the Americans' election of Kyoto-unfriendly George W. Bush, Dion would have us believe.
Wow. Greenhouse gas emissions are even Bush's fault in Canada. Who knew? And who knew George Bush could have made the Liberals do things for the last 6 or so years they were in power that they didn't want to do on Kyoto?
Someone should tell Dion's dog Kyoto that the U.S. Senate pretty clearly voted 95-0, expressing its sense that the U.S. shouldn't sign the Kyoto Protocols... when CLINTON was president. And it has never been ratified by the Senate. George Bush doesn't ratify treaties.

There's ONLY one singer worthy of the name "Dion". That's Dion DiMucci ["Runaround Sue", "The Wanderer"], of "DION & the BELMONTS" fame. And he's from da Bronx!

To me, not quite an accurate impression:
Liberals have the pompous self righteousness of immature undergraduates but, and as much as we may disagree with same, the latter generally tend possess a value system based upon some sort of discernible principles which they rigorously attempt to abide by.
