And life under the Pantsuit's reign will be happy and carefree? Forget the guns, we gals will be in burqas.

I don't think you understand. To someone who cares about the second amendment as a primary concern, there is basically no difference between Rudy and Hillary. In my view, they are both equally wrong.

I'm not a one issue voter, but I view supporting the second amendment as the perfect litmus test because if you are one of those people who believes that greater security comes from more government control (as do both Rudy and Hillary) then the last place that I want you to be is deciding public policy issues. If you make me surrender my right to self defense, then you will have no problem making me surrender all my other rights as well because you feel it would be better for everyone.

The person I vote for in 2008 will be an active supporter of the second amendment, the right to keep and bear arms, and the right of each law abiding individual in this country to defend themselves from bodily harm. On this issue, I will not negotiate, and I will not be persuaded otherwise.

When Rudy was the Mayor, I was living in an apartment on the north end of Times Square. I think he did a great job for the city of New York before 9/11 and a good job after as well. I've met him several times, and I like him personally.

But with all that said I think he will make a terrible President of the United States. Some people think he's tainted because of the marital issues. I think they'll effect his ability to get elected, but I have an ex-wife too so I'm not one to judge him too harshly for it.

All the same though I do think he's tainted.... not by marital trouble but by being a New Yorker. He was the best of a bad lot in New York city where he could be compared to shameless race baiters like Charles Barron or unreconstructed Marxists like Randi Weingarten, but measured against the country at large he's a devout liberal and there is simply no way I can support him for president.

He may be the only lucid person in the insane asylum, but at the end of the day he's an inmate not staff.
