Wasn't there a SNL skit about something like this back in the early 90's with Victoria Jackson and Kevin Nealon? That's just wrong on so many levels. Isn't enough to share a dining room table and a bed with a man. Do we really need to share a toilet too??!

I toured the arch and also saw the movie how they got the last piece into place. As I remember that because of the sun (expansion of the metal) they had to cool the arch with water from fire hoses until the piece could be fitted into place. Nice piece of work. The view from the top of the arch is fantastic.

However, there is a tragedy associated with the arch; a parachutist was successful in landing on top of the arch. A gust of wind came along and blew him off and he fell to his death.

I have seen the arch, too, it is very impressive.

Such a sad story regarding the parachutist.
