Oh yes he did. In terms of loss of all benefits and privileges, there is no difference between a BCD and a DD. A Dishonorable Discharge is almost never given for some reason. I think I saw only one in my cases, and its usually given in especially heinous crimes (ie molestation, for example).
Run of the mill stuff rates a BCD.
