You could try to make the RAT party conservative, but you will be starting with Marxists. Why bother?
---
You're from Michigan, so you know better than I do -- all those union guys who vote Democrat, how many would be more amenable to conservative values than Marxist ones?

And they only vote Democrat because their parents did, and don't realize how wacky the party has become?

About 40% of union members will vote Republican and they do so based on those pesky social issues some want to throw off the platform....God, Guns, and Gays.

The gun issue seems to be a major factor for swinging those voters with abortion and family values 2nd.

The issue of queer marriage/partnerships is a big drag on the RAT party because everyone across party lines will vote in mass to ban that.

Many of those union guys are conservative, they just don't realize it. It's hard to overcome the conditioning (brain washing) they've had for so many years.

I grew up in a democrat household and my dad is still staunchly democrat. He can't believe his sons (I switched two of my brothers to the conservative side) vote Republican. I guess what I'm saying is there is hope for them. You just need to constantly make your case to them, politely, until they see the light.
