Jim, abortion isn't the most important issue to me. And it isn't to the majority of Americans. Either you can deal with that factoid, or just grow old and bitter. It's your call.

No, Rats only vote for Rats. It don't matter how liberal a Republican is, they will never vote for him.

Why can't they realize, no matter how you slice it, Rudy Giulianni is just not acceptable to many of us?

I know that has something to do with Sesame Street, but other than that...you've lost me.

I think, maybe, you seem to be in a bit of a grouchy mood these last few weeks.

Just a little bit.

Though, to be fair, there's plenty to be upset about, but it doesn't help to put down the good guys so hard, especially in their own house.

An AWESOME house. ;)

I keep hoping this is just a slump. (please let me believe this, for a couple of more days.)

It just seems that the Left will hate the Right no matter what, and that they are so much better at burying their differences in favor of abortion and tearing apart our families and our country - and they delight in taking our money to pay for it.

On the other hand, the Right can't get along at all, because of some 0.01% issue here or there. We shoot our own, strip 'em, and leave them naked on the field.

Then the Left claims a mandate.

Those of us who campaign the hardest *do* care about abortion.

Sorry, but abortion "rights," gay "rights," 1st and 2nd amendment issues, and the SCOTUS are not 0.01% issues. We're talking about mainstay issues of the conservative movement.

So sorry that social liberals put so little value on issues that are near and dear to the hearts of conservatives.

I realize it..believe me...it's hard not to these days. But what does it mean in the long run. Sit and pout about it? Isn't it better to get a little something than get nothing? You're not going to get everything you want. You're just not. You pick your one or two most important issues and you choose the best to cope with those issues. If it's abortion, fine. I'm not minimizing how deeply you feel on an issue...but then don't complain when you end up getting someone who represent NOTHING you want. It's entirely up to you.

Many issues are important to me, just to show I'm not a one issue voter. The truth is, abortion isn't even an issue for me. It's a character trait. If a candidate believes an abortion is acceptable, then he becomes unacceptable to me. To be for abortions is totally reprehensible and a character flaw, much the same as a child molester.

As far as me being bitter, far from it, I know in my heart I'm doing the right thing. God loves me!

I think I'll grow old and happy and continue to the best of my ability to fight the socialists among us. Every socialist that drops off the radar makes me happier. Thank you very much.

I don't pout! I'm a very happy guy! I will get what I want, it just isn't what you want. Gotta have faith!

We'll find out once and for all this election.

A statement that is quite revelatory of the current thinking of the evil wing of the GOP.
