"They will do anything to distract us from paying attention while they engage in the destruction of our Constitutional Republic, and as they pass legislation to circumvent our Sovereignty."
It's because most of them don't see themselves as Americans. They are "citizens of the world". They believe they are elites and rightly so because they are returned again and again to their positions of power by gullible voters. We are going to be merged with Mexico no matter the bloodshed and heartache it causes because it's not going to affect those that implement the merger. This will end badly for us and them, they're just to disconnected to realize it.

So now what? Immigration becomes a non-issue in the next election? I thought the Minimum Wage bill already passed the House. This looks like a done deal to me and the republicans didn't have the spine to do something about it when they were in power.

You might like this bill that has been introduced.

Since you are going to roll over and die.Not at all! I'm open for suggestions! Since we are outnumbered in the House, how do we prevent this from becoming law? If it gets to the President, he's going to sign it. I know that immigration is an issue in California as it is here in Florida. Most people have no clue what is going on. If it wasn't for this thread, I would not have known this was attached to the Minimum Wage Bill. It gives you a feeling of helplessness. Suffice to say, I'm outraged but am at a loss as to what to do about it.

Senate vote cartograms are shown with each state taking up an equal area (two votes each). For House votes, each congressional district takes up an equal area (one vote each). These images were created with the help of Michael Gastner's cartogram program.

Not at all! I'm open for suggestions! Since we are outnumbered in the House, how do we prevent this from becoming law? Contact your rep in the house. If you can, go to their office and make contact. Thank those members in the house who will vote against amnesty and talk to those who will support it - remind them we vote.
And email this thing everywhere..... NO ONE KNOWS.

This is how things are Done when Democrats are in Charge...
Anyone who DARES to stand up to the "Minimum Wage" bill, even if it's to stop amnesty, will be CRUCIFIED in the Press as hating the poor...
TRUTH matters little in a Propoganda War of soundbites.
"YOU HATE THE POOR!!!" sticks far better than a breathy explanation of how Democrats have attached things that have nothing to do with wages...

Reading a little further in the record:
It appears the immigration measure was in the form of an amendment that Teddy Kennedy introduced, SA 180. He attempted to attached it to Session's SA 143, and it was tabled.
The Sessions amendment would have outlawed the employment of illegal aliens.
Neither amendment ended up in the finished legislation.
