"I agree. Anyone supporting an avowed liberal like Rudy, against almost everything the Republican Platform professes, especially on a forum like FR that has been initiated and run as a "conservative" forum, must be a "malcontent" or a "FRinger" or maybe even a troll."
It's good to see there are still a few good people on this forum who believe in conservative values!

I hope Rudy gives 'em all an offer they can't refuse. You and me both! I love that saying! Everytime we watch the Godfather movies, I ended up making sauce with plenty of meatballs to go with pasta! Always throw in some Italian sausage (hot) and if I want to go all the way will make some Braciola to put in the sauce. Now I am making myself hungry.

I'm voting for Ron Paul, hoping for Duncan Hunter or Tom Tancredo, would settle for Mitt Romney. I won't vote for the other RINOs in the line up who are going to continue to grow the federal government.

I have learned the art of waving back but haven't picked up the temper part. My mother-in-law one time years back told me I wave my arms as much if not more than most Italians. I was trying to make a point when she said she loved Ma Richards in our home in TX. Did not go over well and was explaining about her and why I didn't like her. My father-in-law couldn't quit laughing.

Rudy is a team player- he wants to be liked by conservatives McCain despises conservatives, and resents that he must kowtow to them, he hopes that by redoubling his sucking up to the MSM he can get so much reverential coverage that he won't need us.
Guiliani I think is more comfortable with conservatives than he was with NYC liberals. ( But maybe I am just hoping.)
To: NYC Republican
No way. She *might* win. But it'll be a very tough race for her in NYC. And NJ, PA, RI and CT would begin the campaign in the toss-up or leans-dem categories.
To: dmw
I see it as simply picking the best war time President. That will not change the conservative values that were instilled in me long ago. We need to beat Hillary and continue fighting where GW leaves off.
To: CedarDave
woohoo! I am a pro-gun, pro-life repub but I love Rudy.
Get ready for the "holier than thou's" to rip the man apart tho. And they think they can do us a great service how, after the stay-at-home republicans lost it for us in November??
This is finally getting me interested again!
GO RUDY GO!! TAKE ON THE BEAST!!

NYers loved Rudy until he started going after the hot dog vendors. That's going way over the line. You DON''t go after NY hot dog vendors.

If we're going to run on "would you rather of Hillary/obama" campaign then I would much rather have a RINO like McCain if that's the bottom of the barrel the Republicans wish to go after. I can't support a candidate that endorses murder or marriage rights for 2 of the sames.

Pasta is right up my alley. Unfortunately, I'm a lifetime member at WeightWatchers and have to ration it. Just made a HUGE pot of sauce yesterday. (We even put it on cornflakes!)
Back in 2000, after Rudy dropped out of the Senate race, his headquarters, Friends of Giuliani, became Rick Lazio's digs. I even had my 16-year-old daughter helping out. We met Rudy at a parade one day and he was so gracious....signed a poster my daughter made. He has our total support. I'm kind of anxious to get out there and help again when the campaign revs up.

McCain is the absolute worst kind of RINO- an unstable renegade RINO who likes to rub his RINOness in the face of conservatives and ask them how they like it (e.g. Gang of 14, McCain-Kennedy Bill). Rudy is a team player- he wants to be liked by conservatives and I think he will be getting some religion as the campaign wears on. And he is at heart a strong leader with a law-and-order disposition. You nailed it MittFan.
