St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert P. McCulloch will announce this afternoon that he is filing still more charges against kidnapping suspect Michael Devlin of Kirkwood.
McCulloch has scheduled a press conference for 3 p.m. in Clayton. The terse announcement of the press conference lacked specifics on the new charges.

This will not go to trial Bonne. based on what I understand about the news conference today I think Devil may be cooperating. They said he has confessed to all of the sexual sodomy. I gather they didn't get everything from him before he lawyered up and that some of it has been gathered by him in the last week or so. I bet his lawyers know he is screwed and they just want him to plead this out.
I could be wrong, but I just don't see this ever going to trial and honestly it shouldn't! He is going to get life in prison regardless of any pleads and his lawyers know that!
I agree. I do not believe this will go to trial. In the counts of kidnapping he pleaded not guilty because his attorneys did not have any of the evidence yet. There will probably be more charges in the future once they determine whether Devlin took Shawn out of state.
Yes , there were freepers who said alot of vile things
One Freeper said that since Shawn got to play video games , & not go to school that Shawn had it pretty good with kidnapper , & that the kidnapper was nicer to Shawn then Shawns family !
Another Freeper Said Shawn Enjoyed It , & That freeper was banned .
They were surprisingly alot of freepers who loved to complain and blame Shawn & his family .
Freepers said Shawn forced Ben at gunpoint & helped kidnapped Ben !
FACT : The Sheriff Said Shawn WAS A Victim , & that Shawn DID NOT Kidnap Ben - What the sheriff said about Shawn being Innocent is in the newspaper too ...
Shawn was a small , skinny , 11 year old 5th grade boy when he was kidnapped & Shawn was a victim .
Too many of the Shawn & Ben threads were of freepers Bashing Shawn & his Family
The Freepers who bashed Shawn & his family also were VERY SILENT About Bashing KidNapper Evil Devlin !
Now awaiting the typical NAMBLA-style defense.... Ye gods. Well, I guess we all feared this and, in our heart of hearts, knew these kinds of charges were coming.
Don't forget the people that said Shawn just wasn't raised tough enough. If he would have been tougher he could have killed his attacker.
