Russian blackmail? Let's hope there's a better explanation for it.

Russian blackmail? Let's hope there's a better explanation for it. Mr. Sikorski was opposed to the radical vetting("lustration/lustracja")of the military promoted by Mr. Maciarewicz. See Better Late Than Never: Retarded De-communization in Poland.
Since both gentlemen were in the government, one of them had to go. Brothers Kaczynskis are hardliners on issue of de-communization.

One of the very few ministers in this government who I actually respected has gone.
He lost with the Mad Antoni

What is the reason of your respect for Sikorski? And how it is related to his achievements as a minister?

There's also a "shield" thing. Radek at least wanted to get a serious military aid for that, twins because of some unknown reason think that the shield is by definition a super duper idea and want It no matter what.

Wow.. Nobody has invaded Poland lately. Considering their history, I would say he was doing a pretty good job.

OK, thanks for the explanation.
I will say that de-Communisation is easier said than done. I would favor it in principle, but I don't know the rights and wrongs of this particular case.

Antony Macierewicz will enter Polish history in glory.
You mean the history of Polish psychiatry?

Some disagreement between Sikorski and brothers exist, they have the right to run government according to their vision. Note that how they let him go, without much of noise. Perhaps they have some other offer for him. In my opinion, he was nothing special as a DM, I cannot name any important thing what he did. Yes, he was popular in MSM but we all know why

I wouldn't really take seriously what Mr Hypki is saying... Sure the sky won't fall down, but Radek is generally a good guy and If the reason was a conflict with Macior then It's really sad, because Macior should be locked in a room without corners.
