No one needs to "force" each and every female child to have this vaccine - period. First and foremost - it is being done with taxpayers dollars without taxpayers consent.

Secondly, it is being ordered to repay a drug company for supporting a political campaign!

If Texans had a vote on this, that might be a bit different, though I still don't favor forcing this on girls simply because they attend government schools.

All of my children got their vaccinations with our doctor, not some government educator at public school.

Read my very first post,
we are saying the same thing.

I don't think it should be forced,
but I for one would have females in my care getting it.

That's all.

Plus, there are risks to every single vaccine, and the risks should be discussed with your doctor.

My daughter has brain damage, and we discussed vaccines with him. They ordered a different kind of DPT shot for her to reduce the risks of that shot.

Since, the new HPV vaccine has neurological side effects, I don't know if the benefets of this shot will be worth the risks.

However, it is a matter that should be discussed with our doctor, and we (her parents) should decide. If we haven't vaccinated her by 18, then she can decide for herself.
