I've seen these things from the freeway in Texas. Even with vast, wide open spaces, these things are visually overpowering.

Far be it from me to praise the French, but in terms of electricity generation, they have it right - over 70% of their electricity comes from nuclear. That's how to do it - the world's leading supplier of uranium is Australia. I'd much rather be dependent on our cousins from Down Under for that, than on the Russians for natural gas.

I saw them outside of Palm Springs. Didn't do much for me. I think they would look great outside of Nantucket Bay.
