No arguments on Newt's negatives. I've been a fan of his from before he was elected to congress, but he does have a knack for making enemies.
Hey, I personally think he's a great strategist and HE should be running the RNC. But he's no spokesman, and he's not a good candidate. Anyone who watched him lecture the nation when the GOP won Congress back should know that. Far as I can see, there ain't been a speechwriter worth a lick in the GOP since Lincoln.
