Trying to blame God for man's own sin is an extremely old game...one at which none of your forerunners have ever succeeded.

But, if you had your ears open, you'd be glad to find out that, while He didn't cause us to sin, He did make the decision to bear the penalty of that sin for us. Pretty generous, don't you think?
