Just when you thought the Sunday panels couldn't have someone more annoying and nauseating than Juan Williams, Stephie invites Donna Brazile to his show....

I have mixed feelings about Donna Brazile.   I despise her politics and public personae, but I found out through a friend that she's also a very nice person.  She lived next door to a co-workers son when he first went to Washington as an aid to a conservative elected official.  He roomed with two other very conservative white Republican 20 somethings.  She took them under her wing and showed them the ropes in the town, never trying to sway them or get into their politics, just being a mentor and good neighbor to some kids right out of college.

I think I'd like her one on one.  There are a whole bunch of the Dhimmicrats that that wouldn't be true about.  Heck, I know I wouldn't want to be in the same room as a whole bunch of Republicans.  Hagel comes to mind.

I think this also happens with members of Congress. It's difficult to really go at someone if you know them on another level. I suppose it's one of the reasons little actually gets done in Washington.

That was quite a story, I agree she has been honest and forthright at times, and complimentary to the Pubbies. There was one point where I thought she was trying to get the stranglehold off the Black Community that the Rats have had for decades. They may have promised her that they would do better.

Donna Brazille spoke warmly of President Bush after Katrina and did not blame him for the inept response of the governor and the mayor; she cited the real reasons for the dreadful aftermath, and included the unfortunate reliance by much of the population on the government running their lives.

She is a very decent, praying Christian without being sanctimonious, just firm in her faith.

I thought it disgraceful that the Dems dumped her so publicly and disrespectfully from Gore's 2000 campaign. I guess they assumed that blacks would vote for the Dem without her input.

It would be interesting to see the numbers from Tenn. and Ark. both of which dumped the Dem ticket in 2000. D.B. did not agree with the Dem decision not to campaign hard in those two States.
