Edwards says both Iran and Syria have an interest in not having chaos in Iraq.

Iran doesn't want refugees coming across their border. Also, they are in the minority being Shi'ia.

The cartoon just above this post is perfectly representative of the Timmy/Edwards interview.

How much panic is there in Republican ranks, says Wallace.

Graham does good in going after panicking democrats, first. Finally, after Wallace prods him, he says there are "some" and then goes on to say what he tells them, which is a pretty good explanation of why this is important and they should stick with it.

Panel next.

Real Journalist:

That is interesting. And Just what did Iran do to "help" us in Afghanistan.

Once again an absurdly misleading statement from a Leftist is left totally unchallenged by our supposed "Journalists"

Graham actually sounded like the passionate person he was during the impeachment years. He and McCain somehow have decided to stand for victory in Iraq. Damn the media, full speech ahead!

No kidding. The most important thing about our presence in Iraq is it drives a wedge between Syria and Iran. Left on it's own, it wouldn't be long before there was one large contiguous landmass bent on the destruction of Israel. If they think there's unrest in the ME now....wait if that happens....

Timmy, in ominous tone: "Do you think the Bush admin. is planning for a war with Iran?"

Edwards says we are not being smart in dealing with this. (Submessage: Bush dumb.)

The Pony: Nutjub promised to lift his people out of poverty and making nasty speeches, so he's at trouble at home. Edwards wants to tap into that and work with our friends in Europe. Sticks and carrots (we have done that, btw).

This interview is a campaign ad that Edwards did not have to pay for. (Will Hillary! be angry.)

He says he can't answer the question whether as Prez he would allow Iran to get a nuclear weapon.

Iran and Syria may not want chaos in Iraq, but they sure do want to control/own it and shut down all this talk about democracy and freedom.

Edwards needs to back away the hairspray, it's seeping into his brain.

The problem with this comment is it's untrue. The biggest problem is the Shiites are the majority in Iraq, as they are in Iran. Plus, Iran wins if Iraq moves further into the Shiite camp.

Of course they don't want chaos. Iran and Syria want a pro-Iran, pro-Syria government which will give them access to more oil, the Gulf, and in the process make the Americans look ineffectual. Then they will turn their eyes towards Saudi Arabia. Control of most of the world's oil is Iran's short-term goal, and long term to leverage that into the control of Europe, the destruction of the USA, and the annihilation of Israel.

If we had any real Journalists.

Nicely put.

Under the radar, chief Iranian nuclear scientist is killed, as bin laden's brother-in-law last week. Thanks for the covert heroes.

I see you and I had the same reaction to that "chaos" comments.

Brit says that he keeps thinking the coming presidential season, which started in November, will hit a lull. Instead, it just keeps on coming.

It's zero degrees and wind chill 20 below here in northern Ohio, would appreciate some global warming Mr.Gore.

Ditto. It is -11 and about a steady 20 mile an hour wind here in Minneapolis today and I have a flat tire I have to go change! Sucks to be me,

Mara says that they couldn't have prediscted it a year ago, but Mrs. Clinton has NO challengers on her right.

Well, whoop-de-do, Mara, people on FR have predicted this for MONTHS, if not years!
