Why couldn't this also be done in Britain?

In Britain (and also in Canada, I believe) once an arrest is made there can be NO discussion of the case in the press or on television. NONE. Ne reports by press members sitting in the courtroom, no interviews with victims or relatives, no speculation by experts, NOTHING.

The next time you hear about a case is when the verdict is rendered.
