Former KIRO radio talk show host Mike Webb was found guilty of insurance fraud this morning and sentenced to 240 hours of community service.
King County Superior Court Judge Julie Spector issued the verdict following an abbreviated trial, in which she reviewed police reports and documents from Webb's first trial, which ended in a mistrial. Webb opted for the abbreviated trial rather than be tried before a jury.

No doubt doing his part to single handedly fight the evil, capitalist insurance companies and their obscene profits.

a liberal talk show host.......I guess that's why it never made any splash in the media. A conservative who had committed the fraud and then caused such a ruckus outside the courthouse that a mistrial was declared probably wouldn't have gotten so little attention.

I figure that's 30 Saturdays. Not very tough. But it's Seattle, not known for being a tough on crime kinda town.

Webb was not arrested, but he was handcuffed and taken to Harborview Medical Center for a mental-health evaluation, according to Seattle police spokesman Jeff Kappel.Sounds right - - the assclown is obviously a typical Democrat.

You forget about Mary Kay Letourneau. Of course, it was OK to lower the boom on her since her dad was a right-winger. If her daddy were Baghdad Jim McDermott, the judge would've officiated over her wedding to the boy she boffed at 13 and they would've given her the keys to the city of Seattle.

Mike Webb: an amazingly bigoted, mean-spirited and angry man allowed to have a radio show because he drove his listeners crazy (and created an angry audience thereby). His only believing followers lived in the Jim McDermott district of loonies, aging 60's radicals and perpetual college hanger-ons...
