In Bush's final days, Baker's successor, Lawrence S. Eagleburger, sent a classified cable to Belgrade with instructions that the acting U.S. ambassador read it to Milosevic verbatim, without elaboration, and face to face. The Dec. 24, 1992, text, which has been widely described but not quoted before, read in its entirety: "In the event of conflict in Kosovo caused by Serbian action, the U.S. will be prepared to employ military force against Serbians in Kosovo and in Serbia proper."sourceUntil then, I will take the published word of Holbrooke over your claim!
The "Christmas warning" has been cited in numerous books and on multiple webpages. Nowhere does it say anything about Kosovo remaining part of Serbia.
Holbrooke is demonstrably mistaken.
Except, as we all know, the conflict in Kosovo was caused by Jihadist Muslim action.
And there are kneeling Dhimmis who still deny this...when they don't have a full mouth, of course.
