Not your fault of course. You're just ignorant. There is no shame in that, as long as nobody has told you the truth.
Educate yourself. Learn what Muslims mean when they say these things. Their statements must be read in the context of their beliefs.

Yes, I've seen numerous Catholic and Baptist beheading videos on the Internet. And I remember when the Catholics crashed the planes into the World Trade Center, and the Baptists blew up the trains in Spain and England...
