I agree - if he goes independent - it would only split the liberal voters. The conservatives would have more of a consensus (that's assuming the Republican candidate would be a conservative & not a RINO like McPain-in-the-A$$).

On the other hand, if he were to run as a Democrat he would be almost guaranteed the Presidency.
