Well, that's good to know; I'm going right back through my Freepmail right now and post some of the lovely things that have been sent to me.
I'm sure there are quite a few others that have some Freepmails they've gotten they'd like to post, too.
I have to side with Howlin here, posting FReepmail is a no!
What is it about narses writing FR mail to Howlin first that you don't understand? It's really none of your business or mine so you really shouldn't be concerned.
The mods have actually done a good job in realizing that it's primary season and the punches get a bit harder right now. Like the color commentators say about the refs in big games - let them play.
Of course, the flip side is, they get about triple the abuse volume to which they are accustomed.
It use to be a banning offense.
I guess the rules have changed.

You know as well that freepmail is not license to say things to someone that cannot be said in the open forum.

Have to remember to tell several campaigns I work for that I am only a desparate housewife. Joined two local races in the last week and they would be interested to hear that. What a putdown -- want to bet it gets a pass too!
But we are the ones calling people names! Give me a break!
Spam is all the rage now.
I think we should post the same positive Rudy articles on every single page. It's what's being done with anti-Rudy articles and it seems to be okay with the mods.
I am now more confused than I was before. I will try to be polite, even to those who call me names. Is that the basic message?
People that say stuff like that have major issues with women; we've known that for years.
I am trying to as well! My current view (subject to change as new facts come to light) is that Rudy appears to be our best shot at keeping the Hildabeast out of the White House. I understand that he is far from the most conservative candidate running, but at this time he appears to be the most conservative one who has a chance at winning.
I wonder how President Reagan would view those on both sides of the Rudy candidacy who are already engaging in personal abuse and displaying anger to the detriment of any civilized discussion. President Reagan never found it necessary to attack his political opponents in such a disrespectful manner -- much less fellow Republicans. Perhaps we all need to try harder to live up to his example and act like adults.
Those who cannot keep their cool within the confines of Free Republic are going to have limited ability to convince others who politically are well outside the boundaries of most Freepers. That's not good, because most people are not as conservative as Freepers and we can't win nationally without appealing broadly to the people, as Reagan did.
It's a long way to the primaries. No sense firing all of the ammunition so early anyway.
And it was right to the mod's face. We must have very patient mods putting up with that and the spam.
I'm so glad to know that spam is okay now because now that my computer is back in business, I have some things I think I should post on every single Rudy page, over and over and over.

Bunnyslippers tends to post the same Rudy pic on the rudy threads, would you consider that spam?

I don't engage in nasty FR mails and I forwarded the only two I've ever received to Jim.
I have taken to reading comments and laughing when it gets like this -- nothing else you can do!
