The proper way to do this would've been to make it available on a voluntary basis. But that wouldn't guarantee Merck a permanent clientel of millions of school children, each required to pay $360 for STD prevention. And that is why Rick Perry is a bigger whore than he apparently thinks half the schoolkids of Texas are. Every parent in the state should be up in arms over there because Perry's order PRESUMES that all children need STD vaccinces. If they don't want this vaccine the burden is on them and their parents to opt out!

The Governor of Texas and all politicians don't care about anything but being re-elected and gaining more power over the people. The more rights they can take away, the better. In this case, it's parental rights they want to take away. Just another power grab. Too bad the American people are giving up their rights so easily.
