I’m probably going to be called a conspiracy theorist over this one. So IMHU. . .

The chicken pox Vaccine is/was advocated under the guise of scars, time lost from school, etc. When a child has the CP he/she is incredibly contagious and the parent HAS to take time from work. There are no two ways about it. We wouldn’t want time taken from work, now would we.

Chicken pox can be fatal to people on steroids or have immune problems.

My daughter with asthma used to have to put on steroids to control her asthma, so all of my children got the chicken pox vaccine.

I don't particularly think it should be mandatory, but it was worth it for us.
