I can understand ordering vaccines for contagious diseases like Measles and Mumps.. but this is going too far. Is this the way the Republican part is going? Nanny State like the Libs?

I too want proof in 20 years. Look at the autism out break. When i was a child it was 100,000-1 now its 105-1. Furthermore therisol build-up is the culprit. They mandate shots for things like chiken pox...Most people have chicken pox, you don't die from it why vaccinate against it.
This type stuff makes me nuts.
I think I will have my 10 year old daughters get this vaccine when they are older like when they are 16-18. But I'd like it to be used a few years to see what the real side effects are before I start giving it to my daughters who are not sexually active.

How did Perry get away with this? Executive orders can ONLY be issued in order to execute a valid law. What law did he use to justify this executive order? If he is just issuing arbitrary orders without enforcing an actual LAW, he is violating his oath of office and can expect his actions to be challenged in court. The governor is supposed to enforce the law, not make it.
