After reading about a child being severely beaten by "asians" on a british bus, he may be right but not in the way he thinks.

I read the same article. You posted almost word for word what I was thinking. The only difference is I would have substituted "says" for "thinks".
You can never be sure what a person says and what he thinks are identical. This is particularly true of Muslims.
