This "document" violates all established diplomatic, human rights and legal norms. Only fool can believe it can be implemented in good faith.
It is pure fiction not worth the paper it was printed on. Perhaps some enterpreneur can start printing it on a toilet paper.

And the plan was leaked yesterday to an Albanian newspaper before it was presented to Serbia. That is an incredible insult and unbelieveably bad diplomacy -- unless you are deliberately trying to start a war.

Think of timing. Friday. Weekend time. Excellent for EU diplomats to avoid noticing it. By Monday it can be forgotten.

I would be willing to bet that it's not even his radar screen - given the problems in Iraq, with Iran, and North Korea (set aside Afghanistan).

Waiting for the UN's plan for Mexifornia.
You won't have to wait for long.

I was thinking about you when I read this, and was going to ping you.
How long till another war? Which side will we be on? For that matter, since Russia is on the side of the Serbs, what we will do if she intervenes?
This is going to get ugly, it is only a matter of how ugly.

If the UN supports Kosovo becoming independent, then they should support an independent Kurdistan and vow to use international force against Turkey if she decides to intervene.

Speaking of property, whatever happened to the principle of inviolability of PRIVATE property - in this case some 35%-40% of the province: METOHIA?
That land is the Church's private property (hence the name "metohia"; gr. "church land/property").
BANDITRY!

Having Kurdistan would have Turkey thow in with Iran. And would have an interesting situation where two NATO countries end up facing each other.

We should expel Turkey from NATO. The Cold War is over and besides that country is Muslim and doesn't share with our interests.

I agree, but we need the bases in Turkey to supply our troops in Iraq.
So the Kurds will not be having a country anytime soon.

Yes, this is a recipe for war.
Where the "sides" end up is anybody's guess, especially with the US tied up in Iraq and Afghanistan. Lord have mercy!
I would like to see a replay of the Balkan War of 1912. Bye-bye, muslims!!!!
As far as your Mexican posts are concerned, there is a big difference. Mexicans are civilized, and Kosovo Shiptars are not!!!!

Thanks for the ping Babe... Ahh yes, a Muslim Newspaper Editor-In-Chief, self declaring himself being the architect of nation stealing building.
Indeed, a truly 'Dangerous precedent.' What's next? If it is allowed to happen in Kosovo, than why not in liberal Londonstan, UK. Then next, right here in the good ole-U.S.A, like for example in Dearbornistan, Michigan!
I just hope and pray, Serbia doesn't cave in, and instead hold a hard line on giving anything up to Islam. Do not surrender one inch of it's territory to evil.

Do not surrender one inch of territory to evil? That's what people in Vukovar were saying in November 1991!
To: Joey Silvera
This has nothing to do with Croatia. In fact, Croats don't like the Albanians any more than the Serbs do -- the difference is that Croats don't have to live with many of them.

So tell me, what does your comment have to do with the price of eggs in Denmark?
Inquiring minds would like to know.
