Interesting. For a long time I have thought Romney might get the nomination. He is certainly a more formidable candidate than many realize.

My comment is only my impartial assessment. I have no favorite in this race and am simply observing. I may pick someone to back later in the year, but since my donations are in the small range and my primary is late in the year, my backing is really inconsequential.

I will vote for whoever is the eventual nominee, even if it is McCain. I simply do not think that a democrat is an acceptable choice ever, and especially in time of war.

Hi Miss Marple. I think at this stage, the nomination will go to either Romney or Guiliani. McCain has way too many negatives with the Republican electorate. I don't have a favorite yet either. I will say that in our TV age, Romney's good looks give him an edge no other candidate has, Repubican or Democrat. But looks alone will not win it for him. I'm waiting for the debates.
