Fairly ironic, when you think about. These counter-culture measures were implemented largely by Marxists who sought to turn Europe -- through evolutionary means -- into a socialist/communist state, which is strictly anti-religion. Little did they know that they would be so successful in turning the people against their heritage, culture and religious underpinnings, that they would depopulate themselves and ridicule themselves to such a point of weakness that they would be overrun by the hyper-religious.

They set out to strip down the establishment so that one type of tyranny could take over. But while they slept, another tyranny slipped in and is about to take over.

Enjoy your new-found religious dictators, Europe. We're not bailing you out again.
