So...does anyone ever actually try to change people's minds any more, or are we all just getting off on calling each other names?
I loathe euthanasia as much as anything in this world, but condemning everyone who disagrees as soulless monsters and refusing to speak to them rationally will get us nowhere.
People often have good reasons for holding imperfect positions. If we wish to change their minds, and through them the entire nation, we must address those issues directly and with love.
You may wish to review the Terri Dailies threads which have been constant and high volume over the last two years. They are consistent in theme and in projection of good will, are interrupted from time to time by disruptors, many, many trolls, the most of whom were zotted. Many of those sounded very much like soulless monsters in how they attacked us.
Those who come in good will and ernestly wish to be informed do so with the abundance of sources we keep. We have little truck with the left wing troll kind because they come with an agenda and we treat them accordingly. We keep in accord with the statements set forth and reiterated by the founder of FreeRepublic.
Dealing with disruptors and malicious of motive comes with the territory as I mentioned to wagglebee above. We have served as a news gathering activity and have helped shine the light on other victims of euthanasia attempts. In the case of Terri, the Cold Case File still is active, the events of what happened fifteen years ago still crying for justice. The evidence is abundant.
We are glad to inform and have a repository, these threads, on Terri and her Legacy virtually unmatched and watched by the media. And, most importantly, we have actually saved potential victims from harm by the spotlight we shone.
