Where does life end and death begin? This is a question pondered by philosophers, theologians and laymen throughout the world. It is a controversial and difficult issue, as experienced recently in cases such as that of coma victim Terry Schiavo, which became a media circus.
The Chocolate Factory, a performing arts company in Long Island City, grapples with this issue in a new play written by Ken Urban based on a concept by Urban and Brian Rogers, artistic director of the Chocolate Factory.

It was like the Terry Schiavo case, but 20 years earlier, Braun explained.
