I seem to recall an article showing these types of people supporting Michael Schiavo. Do you remember that? I believe they even issued a statement on that. FINOs have their friends I guess.

Offhand, no. Of course there have been scads of articles. Perhaps if we can get more specific, it might tweak the right memory.
The people Michael himself turned to, in his political debut, were liberal Democrats associated with the pro-abort and right-to-kill movements. He enjoys little sympathy except from people of that view. They trust him. Nobody else does.
Michael was FURIOUS that the feds tried to butt into his state of Florida-approved murder of his wife. The Democratic National Committee picked up on Michael's rage and spun it out in the last election cycle. It's actually quite a good conservative issue, as a generality. Nobody is happy about the feds butting into private business (except the same liberal Democrats). In the instance, however, it was the state government that was violating Terri Schiavo's rights, and it was the feds' duty to try to restore her rights. "States rights" was no defense for Greer exceeding his lawful authority.
Me, I'm not fussy whether it's the state government or the federal government or the local sewer district government that tries to kill me. Stop them!
