In my book the chart matters. The chart is all about the Nov2008 election. Issues are what drives campaigns. If you choose Rudy, you'll be voting for a liberal. If you choose Hillary, you'll be voting for a liberal. The poll was basically meaningless, name recognition and a headline. Woohoo. More importantly are the Republican primaries. This is the time to push for the best conservative candidates available. Not the most liberal candidate. In the current FR poll question three of the top four spots are held by strong social conservatives. Gingrich, Hunter and Tancredo get 65% of FReepers votes. The liberal Rudy Giuliani gets 12.3%. Rudy isn't selling with conservatives on FR and for good reason.
I guess if I vote for Rudy, I'm voting for a liberal. Knowing I am not as conservative as most on FR does not really bug me anymore.
Did you have personal issues with Ronald Reagan being close with Rock Hudson?
As to charts, big deal. Who are you - Ross Perot? The only chart that's gonna matter is Nov 2008.
Just something to think about, before you or anyone else tries to make any FR poll "speak" for the entire membership of this forum. LOL
