Just curious but have you ever been a member of the military, law enforcement, local Homeland Security office?

Not me. My wife is in law enforcement. So is my father-in-law. I come from a family where multiple members served in the various branches of the military.

Any argument vis a vie "you don't know what it's like because you've never served" is irrelevant. My in-laws belong to the Catholic parish who lost more people on 9/11 than any other New Jersey parish. I know the importance of remaining vigilant. You should too, and your efforts to belittle those keeping a watchful eye are shameful.

And really, what the heck do you care if people jump the gun a little bit? Does it really matter to you?
