Is it just me, or does anyone else get the impression that Ann is picking horses at a track instead of looking at who would best represent the voters? Is 2008 gonna be another popularity contest like Carter and Clinton? Are we actually lowering ourselves to an "Anyone but Bush Hillary" mentality?

That's the big danger, and we should try to avoid it at all costs because we've seen that it's not a winning strategy (see John Kerry).
