One of the more disturbing of the more than a dozen images obtained by KTVI appears to show Hornbeck with his face shrouded in a red bandanna pointing a gun at the camera. Investigators say the images show a "different side" of Hornbeck, and they hope that they will help them piece together the teen's puzzling disappearance.

Who took the pictures? Michael Devlin? Were they staged & was he directing? Poor Shawn - being raised by a creepy pedophile/possible child murderer could not have been pleasant. God knows what this kid has seen and done, I'm sure he'd like to get over it & move on with his life. I'm praying for him & his family. They have a long road ahead.
If they are real photos, then this is serious.
These photos do not help the road get any shorter, if they are authenticated.

The kid's a hustler .... shortly after his 'discovery', and as more information became public, the more I figured him to be a hustler.
I agree. All I see is a kid acting like a stupid kid.
I believe he was in the truck and heald the gun during the kidnapping of the other kid. However, I could be wrong. I am sure someone else knows the details.

It does make one wonder about his complicity in the kidnapping of the other boy. If these photos are authenticated then this could spell real trouble. I wonder if he'll start claiming Stockholm (Patty Hearst) Syndrome.

He was only 11 years old when he was abducted and forced into an unfamiliar life style with a creep. I really do not think showing these photos of a juvenile who is a victim of a pedophile is helpful in allowing this boy to heal.
Considering how most teens rebel during this age, it's not surprising.
Can't imagine how messed up his head is after living with a pedophile for four years.
I'm wondering who else was in the car when SHAWN was abducted?
